HomeThe Institute for Diversity & Inclusion, 亚色视频 will hold the International Seminar “Linguistic and Cultural Diversity in Literacy” on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
This event explores literacy beyond spoken and written language, as well as the development of reading and writing across diverse languages and writing systems from the perspective of cultural and linguistic diversity. Drawing on recent research, the two lectures offer fresh perspectives on literacy and its development.
The seminar will feature Elena L. Grigorenko, Ph.D., Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished Professor of Psychology, University of Houston, and Tomohiro Inoue, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Admission is free, and JP-EN consecutive interpreting will be provided. We warmly invite you to join us.
