Retreat
The HIRAKU-Global Retreat is organized and held in-person every Autumn with the view of strengthening the HGRs’ skills through presentations, group discussions, research workshops, etc., that are specifically aimed at and applicable for the HGRs, whom are from a variety of research fields. In general, as all HGRs are expected to participate, this event also presents an invaluable opportunity to promote interdisciplinary research exchanges between the HGRs.

Annual Conference / International Symposium
The HIRAKU-Global Annual Conference / International Symposium provides an opportunity for the HGRs to present their own research results, future prospects, etc. to a wider audience, and also provides an opportunity to share and acquire knowledge that young researchers who are active in the world should possess.
