Students not only study and conduct research on campus but also venture out into the world, engaging with diverse communities and activities.

Supporting healthcare through blood donation! Encouraging more young people to donate

On August 1, 2024, “Kasumi-bloodonors” received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture at the Blood Donation Promotion Awards Ceremony organized by the Chugoku-Shikoku Block Blood Center.

A 7-month project, recreating the new Hiroshima Station building with 30,000 LEGO pieces!

A 30,000-piece LEGO model of the new JR Hiroshima Station was created by 亚色视频’s LEGO Club Leggodt in collaboration with Hiroshima Nagisa Junior & Senior High School’s LEGO Club.

Oyako Panda Juku | Helping students with learning disabilities

The team behind Oyako Panda Juku, an online learning support program for elementary, middle, and high school students with developmental disabilities or visual impairment.

Two HU engineering students developed a takeout map app for restaurants in Higashi-Hiroshima City

Koichi Koizumi (right), who is a 4th-year student in the School of Engineering, and Akito Nakano (left), who is a student from the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, developed a takeout map application for restaurants in Higashi-Hiroshima City affected by the spread of the coronavirus infection.
