ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ

International students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for the HUSA program:

1. Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at their university during their stay in Hiroshima.
2. They must be a student of a university with which ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ has established a formal short-term student exchange agreement. See Partner List
3. Students must have a good academic record.
4. Students must have sufficient English OR Japanese language proficiency to be able to comprehend classes, give presentations, write reports and take examinations. Attending HUSA without sufficient language ability can cause difficulties in academic achievement.

Students must submit either ¢ÙEnglish Language Proficiency Proof OR ¢ÚJapanese Language Proficiency Proof upon application.
*Native English speakers without ¢Ú are also required to submit this document as part of the HUSA application.

¢Ù English Language Proficiency Proof

A copy of a TOEFL score (iBT above 61 (0-120 scale)  or above 4 (1-6 scale) / CBT above 173 / PBT above 500) or IELTS score (Academic Module above 5.0)
*If a student has been enrolled in a program or course whose instruction language is English, you can provide a document  by a professor or the program director.

A copy of certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency Test 2nd Grade (Nihongo Noryoku Shiken ÈÕ±¾ÕZÄÜÁ¦Ô‡òY 2¼‰) or above.
