ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ

On December 9, 2025, a delegation from Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia visited the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus of ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ (HU) and held a discussion with HU President Mitsuo Ochi.
Professor Norimune Kawai and Associate Professor (Special Appointment) Nurul Hidayati Rofiah from the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion also attended the meeting. Discussions focused on HU's initiatives in inclusive higher education and the prospects for future collaboration.

From December 5 to 11, 2025, the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion hosted a short-term program on inclusive higher education, attended by ten participants from the two ministries above. The program focused on learning theories and practices related to inclusive higher education. Ensuring access to higher education for all learners, regardless of gender, disability, socio-economic background, or place of birth, is an immediate global challenge. This short-term program is expected to strengthen inclusive higher education governance in Indonesia.
