On July 14, 2026, the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering held its third Regional Seminar, focusing on Thailand and Vietnam.
Under the theme of “Regional Seminars,” the Graduate School organizes seminars aimed at fostering interdisciplinary and cross-sector networks based not on specific academic disciplines or research fields, but on countries and regions. This seminar followed the first seminar on Indonesia and the second on India, both held last year.
For the third seminar, Thailand and Vietnam were selected as the focus regions, as the Graduate School has welcomed many outstanding international students from these countries. Seven faculty and staff members shared their experiences and insights regarding the recruitment of talented students, international collaborative research, and academic exchange activities with universities and other institutions in Thailand and Vietnam.
Through the sharing of these experiences and knowledge, the Graduate School aims to increase the number of international students from these countries and further expand international collaborative research and student exchange opportunities.
The Graduate School will continue to promote its internationalization through network building and the sharing of experiences and expertise.
